Fun quiz. Got 17. Never heard of Lou Gehrig's disease - anyway, shouldn't it come under "G"? To my knowledge, many of these eponymous diseases were not first described by the people whose names have become attached to them. Far better to use a descriptive term, such as Trisomy 21, IMO.
Thanks for the feedback! ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) was made popular in the US after baseball player Lou Gehrig was diagnosed with the disease. So in some countries, especially the US, it is also referred to as Lou Gehrig's disease.
I've never actually seen eponymous diseases referred in that way you mentioned, and maybe it might be confusing for some if I were to change it.
