Thanks. It was surprisingly hard to make rhyming couplets from movie quotes.

Was this based on "The Golden Age of Video" by Ricardo Autobahn? A lot of similar quotes, but good job incorporating into this!

I avoided using the same rhymes as that video (except they rhymed everything with the Ghostbusters quote, so that overlap was hard to avoid), but it definitely was an inspiration.

Marvin would still be with us today if he just had an opinion.

Loads of fun, thank you! I somehow couldn't remember which movie in the series had "Go ahead, make my day." and I tried all three of the others before the correct answer :)

Love the idea, a lot of great lines in here. I do have to quibble, though: "Dan" does not rhyme with "damn."

Sometimes you have to accept slant rhymes for the sake of artistry. :)

I thought surely that "Go ahead, make my day" had been uttered in more than one of the 5 movies featuring Dirty Harry. Was really taken aback that it was only in one of them - I'd always thought of it the same way as "I'll be back" in Arnold Schwarzenegger films.

It’d be easier if any movie quotes rhymed with punk. 😂

Would it be possible to accept Star Wars?

Nice quiz anyway

I'm glad it doesn't. Star Wars is either the title of the first movie in the franchise (as what is now known as Star Wars: Episode IV — A New Hope was released as Star Wars), or a way of referring to the franchise as a whole. It can't correctly refer to a movie in which Yoda says this quote.

Would you accept "Harry Potter" for "Master has given Dobby a sock"? Or "The Avengers" for "You should have gone for the head"?

Oh yeah, that’s an alternate title I wasn’t aware of. I’m not sure I can update the type-ins for a featured quiz, though. 🤔
