They're all random, but I have tried to get them relatively spread out across the map and a range of difficulties. However this is all dependent on population density and the language spoken (very few Chinese cities begin with A for example)
i think the map are very well chosen because there is a very big diversity in the knowing that you need to have. Some capitals, some second city, some big city some cultural city, etc... Well done cool quiz
I was so proud of myself for remembering a city in Kazakhstan that began with 'A'. I typed Astana...and it wasn't it...pretty much ruined the rest of my day...
Hardest one for me was on the US east coast. Thought the dot was north of Long Island, and couldn't come up with anything. Finally zoomed in, and all I could think of was Asbury Park.
Didn't know we could zoom in, and I had the same trouble. At the scale I saw it, it could have been Albany, Allentown, Alexandria, Annapolis, or Aberdeen (the other one).
how about A Coruña? And Asmara (Cap of Eritrea)? And Adana? Anshan? Asansol? Amritsar? Aracaju? They all have >1 mil population (I think) if that is how it works.
I like the randomness of these quizzes. It's what makes it harder. We all know the capitals of countries, but these randomly chosen cities make it much more testing. 25/31 for me.
