Haiti is not the name of an individual island, nor is “Cayman Islands.” Navassa Island is arguably the least well-known island in the Greater Antilles. It is a constituent part of the U.S. Minor Outlying Islands statistical designation. The remaining islands are located in the Pacific. Ownership of Navassa Island is disputed with Haiti. It is unpopulated and administered through the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
