Like people have said, I think Botswana should be accepted for the last one. Yes, it's a different shade of blue, but that can be very hard to see on-screen sometimes.
Great, creative quiz idea! Gonna add on to the chorus here that Estonia's Nordic-style flag looks nice. I feel like Estonia is pretty close to being a Nordic country anyways--would be cool to see them adopt it!
Yea several years back I didn't know this, but the language is closest to finnish and not at all close to russian or other slavic languages. And the culture and history aswell. They áre basicly a nordic country but well they already got "picked" so once a part of the ussr they oboviously dind't belong to what we percieve as the nordic countries.
And funnily enough I just read an article yesterday about how most estonian people do feel like they are a nordic country.
And from that article I also learned that their capital Tallin actualy means Danish city.. (Taani linn)
Unfortunately we can't nominate the similar quiz mentioned above with all the countries, because quizzes with more than 100 answers cannot be nominated. But it is still a great quiz that I recommend.
Great quiz, really enjoyed the designs. Like many others the last one looked very much like Botswana, but the caveat helped me get the right one in the end.
Very amusing, got 'm pretty quickly, except Japan....somehow that took a while, kept thinking it was a variation on Poland/Indonesia/Monaco/Singapore or such, even thought of Greenland and it being a potential twist on the Danish one.
The Brazil, Argentina, South Korea, Mongolia North Korea, Nepal, and Estonia flags are quite good. The Australia one is not bad. The Mexico one looks like Denmark and Ireland had a baby. Portugal's isn't bad, except for the bright yellow cross. India's is strangely enticing. China's is not the best. I don't like the South African, Pakistani, and Ethiopian ones.
You could shave of a minute if you want, because I am bad at flags, and had like 1:20 left when I pressed give up. Only missed mongolia and I thought guessing 5 countries was enough, wasn't planning on typing all the asian countries (because I did recognise it was an asian flag). And apart from that flag nearly all the flags chosen were pretty well known, besides pakistan and ethiopia, and nepal was tough here because of the normally recognisable shape.
I nearly instantly saw all of them, which I think is very interesting because of the significant design change (and my lack of flag knowledge..), fascinating you can change so much but the brain sort of sees it as the same thing. I guess that explains why some people don't notice if someone has cut their hair drastically (15+ cm).
A lot of the flags look really cool and favorable over the original, though brazil better stay as it was
But I definitely agree that Botswana could/should be accepted as an alternate type-in.

got them on the second try though!
