You can still change the name in the settings. Furthermore there are some states like Cook Islands and Niue who are recognized as country by the UN, but were not inducted as member, so you technically can't anymore call them territories of New Zealand. Some capitals must be wrong as well, or can be written differently: BITO got Camp Justice, Tokelau got Atafu, Sukhumi is a common orthograph for Abkhazia...
You probably can add a few type-ins, especially considering there are many hard-to-spell names here. Something like "Edinburgh" should be enough for Edinburgh of the Seven Seas. Also, you should accept Stepanakert for Khankendi, as that is the Armenian name of the town, and maybe Nicosia for Lefkosa.
For Abkhazia, why do you put Sokhumi instead of the more internationally accepted Sukhumi? I know Sokhumi is the spelling in its original Georgian language, but I was hoping you could give some slack for other spellings too such as Sukhumi esp. since the latter is technically correct as well.
The same goes to Stepanakert (Khankendi) for Artsakh and North Nicosia (Lefkosa) for Northern Cyprus.
And for Montserrat there are technically 2 capitals: Plymouth (de jure) and Brades (de facto). Brades takes the role of the main capital for the time being considering Plymouth is a ghost town, so I was hoping you can accept both Plymouth and Brades as correct answers.
And what is actually the capital of Tokelau? Most sites usually say that it doesn't have a capital. Nukunonu happens to be the largest atoll in Tokelau but does it make it a capital?
And btw regarding Gibraltar, isn't Westside the (de facto) capital?
This has been said, but consistency with what types of territories are included would be pretty great -- does French Guiana, a department of France with the same legal status as all other departments, belong in the same quiz as a Transnistria, an entirely unrecognized breakaway republic
1. Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and not the capital of Tristan da cunha
2. I will add the Armenian name and Nicosia too
But the settlement on the island is called camp thunder cove

2) I dont want people to just say the english name I want them to learn what the natives of the territory most likely say
3) Yes plymouth is a ghost town but by law it is still capital but I will add brades since people actually live there
4) it doesnt have a capital but according to https://www.spc.int/our-members/tokelau/details
It is like de facto by the people technically
5)Gibraltar according to wikipedia has its capital as westside
But according to brittanica it is Gibraltar like how singapore’s capital is Singapore or Vatican city’s capital is Vatican city, etc.
Btw another suggestion, would you consider accepting Diego Garcia as the capital for British Indian Ocean Territory?
It hurts to see so many letters not in Capitals, though....
Please if you dont mind check out my other quizzes too!
I have capitalised all of the starting letters of words except the and de
