I've made more quizzes in the series for United States, United Kingdom, Mexico and Italy. I will make more when I go back to Canada at the end of the month, but for now, you can enjoy the series.
Any chance you could also accept "Outaouais" for Ottawa river? This is its French name (la rivière des Outaouais), and that's what we call it in Quebec, since it's on our border with Ontario. I actually didn't even know it had a different name in English :). Thanks!
I'm from Quebec and native English speaker and didn't know it was called Ottawa river until I moved to Toronto. Everyone calls it Outaouais in English or in French in Quebec.
I'd never heard of any of them except Banff... Been living in Canada for 2 years now and I can't say I'm good at Canadian geography lol. Lakes also gave me a hard time.
I know it's technically french but can you allow for st laurent and fleuve st laurent for the st lawrence river. Most of it is in Quebec and even anglophones here call it the Saint-Laurent.
Can you fix your Hudson Bay graphic? It's a lot bigger than what you have, and actually encompasses everything west of the Resolution Island area to the Fury-Hecla Strait: look at the drainage maps on goo.gl/Vy74rF.
Based on the scores, it looks like some people were able to skip one if they didn't know it. Was that ability taken away at some point? After the first three, I don't know the next answer and get stuck.
Huh! Originally from Vancouver, learned all about the Haida in school growing up (back in the 80s) and it wasn't 'til today that I learned about Gwaii Haanas!
When I saw where it was on the map, I tried all kinds of variants on "Haida," "Haida Gwaii" and even "Queen Charlotte" (thinking it might have had an older name that hadn't yet been changed).
Gwaii Haanas is a park within Haida Gwaii (the name means beautiful islands in the Haida language, while Haida Gwaii means the Haida islands).
You were definitely close! Gwaii Haanas is a very beautiful and underrated corner of this country, and they have several ancient Haida villages with historical totem poles.

So close and yet so far...
