While normally I wouldn't include unincorporated centres in this series, Manitoba is exceptional in that many locations that would be considered towns or villages in just about any other province have been agglormerated into rural municipalities (the yellow regions on the map), and many former towns lost their status quite recently. Therefore every population centre not previously listed is also included, stretching the answers from 37 to a whopping 57 (still much less than most provinces but that's Manitoba--Winnipeg + a handful of other unfortunate souls we don't like to talk about).
As a Canadian, I am so offended I'm reporting this comment.
EDIT: Now that I've done it: You could've gotten at least Churchill and Brandon down. Dauphin and Thompson as a bonus, pretty easy names to remember from a map.
Yes and that is why the columns specify cities, towns, villages and other population centres (unincorporated). Almost two out of every three Manitobans live in Winnipeg alone.
No problem. You weren't the only one to guess just Winnipeg and Churchill (based on the statistics of this quiz). It is really interesting to see how a small town of less than a thousand people is perhaps the second most famous in Manitoba, although the sample size to make such a statement is still a little small (only seven people have taken this quiz so far, six excluding myself).
Its amazing how Churchill so outperforms its population when it comes to recognition. I guess having polar bears and being on every map of Canada will do that
It is kind of funny how 74% of everyone taking the quiz got it, second only to Winnipeg. Whoever's in charge of the Churchill tourism board deserves a raise.

Take my nomination and my spotlight!
