I don't think India controls any territory bordering Afghanistan, and Jetpunk's policy seems to be mostly based on that. I'd probably have put Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan as an option instead of India to avoid appearing to make a political statement though.
Jammu and Kashmir is clearly Indian. I don't understand why most American maps don't acknowledge this fact. JetPunk should appropriately change all the maps, or I will take it that Mr Quizmaster is pro-China and/or pro-Pakistan. ;-)
I think it's JetPunk policy though. And in many maps, they split it in between, where the part that is Indian does not border Afghanistan. Also, I take it as though YOU are pro-India. ;-)
As @AlexThirkell says, it may not be ambiguous by Jetpunk's pragmatic approach, but it feels like an unnecessary technicality to introduce regarding a border which is in dispute. On a quiz like this, it would be better to stay away from disputable "incorrect" answers. Kyrgyzstan would be a great alternative.
Why not Jordan (too)?
