Ultimate Harry Potter Lord Voldemort Horcruxes Quiz
The ultimate quiz about the Horcruxes of You-Know-Who is here! How many details about the dark magical artefacts can you remember?
The order from top to bottom is in chronological order of destruction of the Horcruxes, the one on top being the first to have been destroyed.
Dumbledore destroyed the ring at the Gaunt House before returning to Hogwarts and it was Frank Bryce and not Bertha Jorkins that was killed to make Nagini.
I disagree about the point of him destroying the ring at the Gaunt House or at least I’d argue that it’s not completely clear. The original text says:
Marvolo Gaunt’s ring lay on the desk before Dumbledore. It was cracked; the sword of Gryffindor lay beside it.
Dumbledore grimaced.
“I… was a fool. Sorely tempted…”
“Tempted by what?”
Dumbledore did not answer.
And later:
“Did you think that breaking the ring would break the curse?”
“Something like that… I was delirious, no doubt…” said Dumbledore.
So I’d say that he came back after putting on the ring and he destroyed it in his office but it could be up for debate. For what it’s worth, Harry Potter Wiki agrees with me.
As for Nagini, that’s wrong, The Author confirmed it was Bertha Jorkins.
Those are from the Bloomsbury chat transcript. It’s taken as canon in the HP world since The Author was asked about it and she listed every horcrux with its corresponding murder victim.
I currently do accept bathroom, lavatory, washroom, and Myrtle. Did you try typing in bathroom and did you double-check that the yellow box was on the correct cell?
