I would disagree about including Torshavn and Nuuk in this quiz. They are not capitals of the independent states while all the others are. If you want to include them, I see no reason why you shouldn't include Maarianhamina, Edinburgh, Belfast, Cardiff, Barcelona, Vitoria, Seville or Santiago de Compostela.
And there should be no place for Pristina - Kosovo is a part of Serbia :)
You make a fair point. Differing countries have varying degrees of autonomy that make a black-and-white declaration of what is an independent country, and what is not, impossible. Using your logic though you'd also need to throw out Micronesia and Marshall Islands from being countries (two nations that generally appear on Jetpunk as "countries") because their foreign policies are under US control. I agree with you that Kosovo is a bit of a dodgy entry given that it is recognised diplomatically by fewer countries (108) than Palestine (135). But Greenland's parliament's decision to leave the European Union, while the country of Denmark chooses to remain within it, marks it as sufficiently independent in our view to be considered a separate country.
