Rotterdam contains one of the largest populations of Cape Verdians in the world (possibly only Praia and Lisbon have higher). All due to the chain migration following the shipping route.
Just so Mr Sin. There is also a confusion here arising from the use of the term "Netherlands". Of the Caribbean islands, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba are part of the Netherlands. Aruba, Curacao and St Maarten are separate countries but are constituent members of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, as is the Netherlands. But rather lazily, or for brevity, people refer to the Kingdom of the Netherlands as The Netherlands. I hope that's clear.
Cape Verde, of all places?? Never would've guessed that
Cape Verde surprised me since it was a French colony and not a Dutch one.
Bulgaria. Why haven't they been included?
