So how come "African Countries with the Highest Percentage of Christians" and "The Most Christian Countries in Africa" have different results for the same subject?
because countries like Nigeria have huge populations, but only around 1/2 of Nigeria's population is Christian and the other half is Muslim, which is why it features on one and not the other. Similarly, Ethiopia has around 30% Muslims, so doesn't feature. On the other hand, Lesotho does not have a large population, so it doesn't feature on the left column, but within that population, most are Christian.
In the opposite direction, in raw numbers, India is the 2nd or 3rd largest Muslim country in the world, but the Muslim population of India only accounts for around 20% of the population. Saudi Arabia may have a nearly 100% Muslim population, but in raw numbers it doesn't even come close to India's Muslim population.
