When the goal of a round of golf is to win each hole, not have lowest total score is more commonly known as Match Play. Yes Skins does the same thing but Match Play is the best answer and should work on the quiz.
i'm not an expert but doesn't skins differ from matchplay in that if after two holes the first has been drawn and the second is won by player two, under skins rules the score is 0-2 but in matchplay it would be 0.5-1.5. Having said that, in both the aim is to win each hole so I should probably shut up.
That was the only one I missed too. I haven't seen Caddyshack, and although I've been golfing all my life I've never come across that term. I usually hear something like, "It's your tee box."
There typically is a specific layer about a foot or two wide that is longer than the grass on the green but shorter than even a fairway cut let alone an intermediate rough cut. Clue gets it right.
Well, my desire is having it land in the hole, even if I have to buy a round of drinks.
Very fun quiz.
