Blue for red was what I thought as well. Until I tried a second time for what I missed. For Genesis I tried Matthew and the book of Revelation, I never guessed Exodus, though in some ways it's the "opposite", I see that now. Qu'ran would've worked for the Bible, but had to try it here too. For marathon I couldn't think of "sprint", tried 100m dash. Some are a bit strange to explain why I got them, but it just felt right to answer like I did. (also missed light bulbs and quantum mechanics)
"100m dash" will work now. ("100 yard dash" and "100 meter dash" already worked, but I'd forgotten to include the abbreviations.) I've also switched Exodus and Genesis so that there will be fewer other attractive answers.
By the way, the fact that some of the answers are hard to explain is why the instructions say "read my mind". I toyed with several different ways to structure the clues and the quiz instructions, and finally decided that was the most succinct and the most fun.
Oh and by the way, I read the non-instructions.
