16.The ________________ best sale was on a farmer's "Farmer's Almanac" with incorrect punctuation use.
Nice quiz. I feel like 5 and 8 could have more than one possible answer though. Not based on grammatical style but on circumstance. Alice and Adam could have been tested as a couple multiple times, and more than one innocent party could share a house. What do you think?
Number 8 implies there are plural parties. Either way, the possessive plural works acceptably.
A "teachers meeting" is also acceptable as it can be construed as a meeting of teachers and not just a meeting under their possession. It falls under the same idea as the farmers market.
In general usage, you should use an apostrophe to show plural letters and digits. If you are talking about writing your letter "a" properly, it would be hard to understand it if I said to "focus on your as." It's clearer if I say "focus on your a's." You'd also want to write 7's and 8's since it's easier to read.
The farmers market is interesting, because the noun becomes a modifier and acts as an adjective here. It's a market full of farmers, not a market owned by a farmer or several farmers. It's the same idea as "Antiques Store". It's not Antiques' Store, because the antiques don't own the store!

At least that's my 2-cents or two cents' worth.
