This is a quiz of the most remote islands on Earth, based on a list I compiled myself through many hours of effort. See my comment for the full methodology. This list has been exhaustively researched and should be compete, but please let me know if you notice any mistakes or have questions.
Some of these are groups of islands (see comment)
Three islands have multiple isolation distances due to atolls or islets that are not always above water
To see which entry includes which islands and for Wikipedia links to all islands, see here
In order to not exclude remote islands with small offshore rocks, I had to use a consistent definition of what counts as an island.
In this quiz, a group of islands is included if the smallest possible distance from the archipelago to the nearest land is at least twice the biggest possible distance from the group's largest island to the group's most outlying island. The given isolation distance is measured from the closest point of land, not the largest island. The largest island is accepted as a type-in.
Naturally, this definition leads to some island groups being excluded due to being too spread out, while some collections of islands typically not considered archipelagos are included. But this is the only way to keep the list objective and not dependent on arbitrary human naming and categorisation. The definition is simple and maps well onto what I would personally consider an archipelago. Feel free to suggest a different workable definition.
