For consistency, I used the occupation and place of birth used by MIT on the Pantheon list. I've used the modern country of birth, that's why places like Israel are on there, hope you enjoyed the quiz! :)
Good quiz. I have several like it. I would give a little more leeway on the spelling of the names and be more specific in the description. Also, nationality rathe than modern place of birth may work better --eg Kant is a German not Russian. Look at some of mine to see what I mean.
Lol what. I feel like at this point we can say they were definitely actual people - just not the prophets or messiahs that their respective traditions claim for them.... Plus like, Homer could potentially apply to several people from the time period we think of for him. And "Homer" definitely left something behind, a piece of story telling that has influenced Western literature to this day.
