Great quiz. One thing, though: could you update the clue for Brittany to say "historic province" or something like that? Nantes is in the modern region of Pays de la Loire, not in Bretagne; the largest city in the modern region of Bretagne is Rennes.
It baffled me for a moment when it asked for the largest city in Central America after it asked for the largest city in Latin America. Any way to remedy that?
Central America being between Colombia and Mexico is right. One can make an argument whether or not the northern border is east or west of Yucatan, but luckily, Mexico City is not included either way. Latin America is simply the part of America, that speaks latin languages, so spanish and portugese.
Did you consider the Ranstad conurbation for Amsterdam ? If not, I think Brussels is bigger (or maybe Rotterdam-The Hague if you consider them as a metro area).
I didn't use the Ranstad conurbation, but I used the larger Amsterdam metro population which, according to Statistics Netherlands, is just larger than The Hague- Rotterdam area combined. Brussels is about 400,000 smaller.
Well, on Statistics Netherlands, I only find a number of 1,5M, but it seems some consider an extended area with 2,3M, which would indeed be 400K bigger then brussels... those figures are never very clear, it's frustrating.
That's a stretch. The current English spelling, "Jakarta," was officially adopted in 1972. More than 40 years should be plenty of time to get up to speed on the "new" spelling. (And yes, I'm old enough to remember when it started with a "D.")
I guess it doesn't. According to Wikipedia (supported by a citation that can no longer be read):
The Delta begins slightly down-river from Cairo.
It's often hard to establish the "borders" of natural features, but I suppose a delta begins when the first distributary splits? And this does happen somewhat north of Cairo. But since this quiz uses "urban areas", maybe the urban area of Cairo gets far enough north to touch the Delta?

It does seem pretty darn close.
