1. Name the world's 20 largest countries by population. With each correct answer, a flag emoji of a bordering country (or the country itself) will appear.
2. Then name the capitals of the countries represented by each flag and you will complete the world map mosaic, one tile at a time.
Population according to Worldometers, 16 July 2021
Thanks! I'll keep an eye on the stats and check the difficulty level. The intention of the quiz is to test your knowledge in several areas... population, flags, and capitals. That's why you have to reveal the flags before you name the cities. :)
I really liked it. Especially the requirement to go back-and-forth between the various modes.
(I mean, I guess I could have entered all countries first, then looked at the flags... but the flags "popping up" prompted me to switch over to answer that one before returning to the countries.)
Anyway: like I said, I appreciated having to use different pieces of knowledge simultaneously.
-the beautiful mosaic, which bruings an awesome and original artistic aspect
-the mix between three different parts of geography, which are populated countries, flags and capital cities.
To resume, as always with you, dear dug, a very original and enjoyable quiz, which receive once again my nomination, and, I hope, a nice little orange star. Nice to see you "back"!
Thanks poirot! I do appreciate your kind words. :) Yes, I've slowed down on my quizmaking a little, but I still enjoy it! Seems like I had more time in 2020, for some reason. :)
I didn't really like it. It was too messy/confusing/frustrating for me. But I got 80%, maybe it's more fun if you're more confident about the most populous, flags, and capitals.
I like the idea; there's just too much going on on-screen for me.
It was frustrating trying to keep track of what I'd guessed, and where I was at. Even the answer columns aren't very orderly.

Defo getting a nomination from me

But I'm glad so many people liked it.
I also missed seeing where some of the flags popped up, so was losing time trying to work out which was the newest one. They are also too small.
Could maybe expand on the concept to include things like top twenty GDP and world capitals, or something else based on flags.
