Each cell contains either a country or a world capital. Capitals, country names and continents are based on featured JetPunk quizzes, except North America and South America are considered a single continent. You shouldn't type an answer if you are not 100% sure it goes there, no guessing!!
Read carefully all instructions
A. RULES: 1) each answer has a different initial letter 2) arrows outside rows/columns indicate that their answers are in alphabetical order according to the direction of the arrow 3) there are no island countries and no multi-word answers in this quiz (this means answers consist of letters only, no spaces or other characters allowed) 4) Americas are considered a single continent in this quiz 5) answers in the same row are in the same continent; continents are colour-coded to the left of the grid (every colour corresponds to a different continent) 6) an answer does not border any other answer with the exception of two pairs: both pairs consist of answers in 'opposite' cells (eg the opposite cell of 2nd row 1st column would be 4th row 5th column) - note this also applies to capitals so if a capital is there you can't also have its corresponding country nor the countries/capitals that border it unless they are in the 'opposite' cell 7) if an answer is coastal/landlocked/double-landlocked then its corresponding cells is also coastal/landlocked/double-landlocked in the grid 8) if you count the number of country names in each row you will get 5 different numbers
Hints for getting started: 0) answers begin with 25 different letters, there are no countries or capitals that being with X 1) using the arrows you can place some initial letters 2) there is one double-landlocked cell
If only I was able to count to 3, I would have gained two hours of life!!!! When I completed the row for Europe, I miscounted the number of countries and, until I fixed my mistake, it was a mess...
But for people who can count, this game is great as usual, everything works perfectly, thank you!
Great puzzle. I hadn't realized that the second and fourth lines were the same color and went crazy trying to figure out what the fifth continent was. (All of the countries in Oceania are island countries, with the possible exception of Australia, so none of the lines can be Oceania. With the Americas combined, that only leaves four continents, so I eventually figured it out.)
Great quiz as always, very well done! I was a bit confused because I thought Djibouti the capital could have worked as well (with Senegal) but I guess I understand the logic. Had a lot of fun, thanks!!
Option 1 works if you treat Djibouti as the capital, option 2 works if you treat Djibouti as the country. Unless I missed something there was no way to distinguish if I should use Djibouti as the capital or the country so I was left with two possible solutions.

1) Djibouti & Senegal
2) Dakar & Somalia
