Can I ask how you came to the conclusion about Russia being the powerhouse in gymnastics? Assuming you are talking about artistic gymnastics, this is a rather inaccurate statement. Russia's number of Elite gymnasts has dropped and they also have become more prone to injuries, thus resulting in a drop in international power.
well we are not basing our answer onto performances, we are basing it on how they have performed in a certain sport in all of these years, and RUSSIA have proven that they are the powerhouse based on medals and high ranking on every competition, if your talking about china who outdid russia, well think again, coz china only emerged as a powerhouse in gymnastics in these late years..not enough for them to emerged in the top of the gymnastic world. AGAIN this is based on medals, history and placements..not just on how they have produced a single famous athlete, we have to consider the performance of the whole country instead.
Russia has never won a Team title at the Olympic Games. They've won one World Championship Team title. I believe you are thinking of the Soviet Union who, yes, was a dominant force in the sport. However, anyone with knowledge of the current state of Russian gymnastics knows that it is laughable to consider them the powerhouse in our sport. They have produced some fantastic gymnasts, but compared to the United States or Romania they really don't compare.
well in the case of usa acceptable type in for mexico is that there are really some countries who tied at a sport, at their case either of the two can be a powerhouse in boxing..well history is not enough to untie this two nation..
Strange quiz, and not just for that. How did this get taken so many times, to? Did you plug it on reddit or something?
