Surprised/confused how Luxor is at 70% while Aswan is 16%...the two are often grouped together because of their history and how close they are to each other, if u thought of one then the other should come to mind...a bit like New York and New Jersey
Badry I think you find it unbelievable because it looks like you're Egyptian, like myself, and we're so used to these two cities being pronounced in the same breath, but unfortunately most Jetpunk users wouldn't connect them the same way. Luxor is much more well-known to Americans and westerners in general, known for its temples and the valley of kings, with such pop culture references as the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, and that Egyptian-themed arcade videogame also called Luxor. Aswan, on the other hand, is heard of less often, and would be know more to seasoned Jetpunkers who know of the Aswan High Dam, for example. In any case, the percentages are now at 52% and 20%, so more balanced, I would say :)
I think the point being it didn't say "most frequently occuring answer" but "most guessed". Like I was picking cities outside of Russia like Minsk because I figured it was "cities people guessed most often".
Yeah but how in the world could that be measured? Do you really think Jetpunk records every single thing every user types in every quiz? That would be a privacy breach to start with, besides the fact that it probably requires a massive supercomputer to record and store such information.
PS: Great quiz
